We believe everyone deserves access to food, beverages, and healing-related products! Please reach out to us for sliding scale options.

All are effectively used on cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, skin ulcerations, varicose veins, and hemorrhoids: on one hand, you really can’t go wrong with any of them for any of these topical uses (barring, of course, any specific contraindications an individual may have with a certain plant).

So why choose one versus another?

  • Plantain’s demulcent action makes it particularly useful when tissue is irritated and needs soothing, as well as for the healing of insect bites and dermatitis.

  • St. John’s wort is particularly useful for burns, including sunburn.

  • Yarrow’s antihemorrhagic and styptic actions make it particularly helpful when stopping bleeding is a priority.
