Pour some sugar on… everything!!

I am so excited to be able to announce so many new products this week! Next up (following my last post about Solidaritea): infused simple syrups!

So far, I have made the following syrups:

Rest, Digest, Connect Syrup

Ingredients: Reverse osmosis filtered water infused with (peppermint leaves, meadowsweet leaves, chamomile flowers*, rosehips, fennel seeds*, lavender leaves*), sugar, distilled white vinegar. 

Warming Spice Syrup

Ingredients: Reverse osmosis filtered water infused with (fresh ginger, cinnamon, fresh turmeric, anise hyssop leaves and flowers*, green cardamom seeds, fennel leaves and seeds*, cloves, allspice, peppercorns, fresh orange zest), sugar, distilled white vinegar. 

Green Tea Syrup

Ingredients: Reverse osmosis filtered water infused with Columbian green tea, sugar, distilled white vinegar. 

*Grown at Wild Within Acres

(Why the white vinegar? That is simply part of safe canning practices: it is only used to the amount necessary to reach a pH of 4.5 for safe water bath canning methods.)

What can you do with these infused syrups? SO MANY THINGS!!

  • Add to hot or cold water to make sweet tea.

  • Add to cocktails and mocktails.

  • Swirl a spoonful into your oatmeal or coffee.

  • Use to sweeten and flavor homemade whipped cream.

  • Drizzle on cooled cakes.

  • Turn ice cream into a sundae.

  • Lick off a spoon by refrigerator light at 2 in the morning.

  • And more!
